No Cheese Pesto

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 cups fresh basil

  • 1 cup arugula or spinach

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 cup toasted sunflower or toasted pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2-3/4 cup nutritional yeast

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • salt and pepper to taste (about 1/2 tsp sea salt)

Here’s How:

  1. Place garlic in food processor and chop.

  2. Add greens and chop

  3. Add nutritional yeast, and slowly add olive oil and salt and pepper until tastes the way you like it.

  4. Add seeds and pulse at the end so there are chopped visible seeds.
